Naturopathy is a holistic approach to healing that uses natural remedies and treatments to promote optimal health. It is based on the belief that the body has its own inherent ability to heal itself, and that nature can provide us with the resources we need to help restore balance in our bodies.

Initial appointments are 60 minutes. During this appointment, Dr. King will take a detailed medical history and ask questions about your lifestyle, diet, exercise habits, stress levels, sleep patterns and more. She may also perform physical exams or order laboratory tests such as blood work or urine tests. This is all done so that she can get an overall picture of your health and begin to develop an individualized treatment plan for you.

Dr. King will discuss different treatment options with you. Treatment options may include nutritional counseling, herbal or vitamin supplements, acupuncture or injection therapies. She  will also recommend lifestyle changes as part of your treatment plan.

Your follow up appointments with a naturopathic doctor will be shorter than your initial visit (30-45 minutes), and they will typically be scheduled every few months depending on the severity of your condition and how well you are responding to treatment. At these appointments, your doctor will review any changes in your symptoms or progress since the last visit and assess whether any adjustments must be made to your existing treatment plan.
