As former athletes, Dr. Lee Atkinson, Dr. Sydney Christie, and Dr. Julia Oberg are keenly interested in optimal physical health, including healthy brain function. Having recently completed a comprehensive course in concussion management and baseline testing, these three chiropractors are able to perform a series of physical and cognitive tests. Based on new research, they are able to provide a pre-injury overview of healthy brain function. If baseline testing has not yet been performed, they can still determine the amount of cognitive impairment due to a concussive injury. Safe return to play decisions can be determined under their supervision.
