Physiotherapy is evidence-based rehabilitation commonly used to improve quality of life by restoring movement, improving mobility, decreasing pain, and rebuilding optimal levels of strength and function. The main goal is to identify and correct the dysfunction that is often contributing to pain and injury.

Every patient is unique, and it is our goal to make sure we tailor a rehab program to fit your individual needs. Your physiotherapist will use a variety of hands-on techniques, exercises, and equipment to relieve pain quickly and restore your function to optimum levels. The overall goal is to restore pain-free mobility and function and to prevent injury or pain from recurring.

Your physiotherapy treatment may include trigger point dry needling.  Dry needling is where an acupuncture needle is inserted into the skin and muscle.  It is aimed at treating muscle trigger points and pain in conditions associated with muscle strains, ligament sprains, nerve irritation, arthritis, and myofascial pain.

Physiotherapy is able to treat a variety of different injuries and conditions including:

•    sports-based injuries

•    auto injuries

•    work related injuries

•    joint, muscular or nerve pain

•    chronic headaches and migraines

•    arthritis, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis

•    dizziness or vertigo

•    pre and post rehabilitation for surgery

No referral is needed to see a physiotherapist.
